president of Beni Suef University receives the Iraqi ambassador in Egypt ... and affirms: We are keen to provide all facilities for expatriates students.

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, received today, Dr. Ahmed Nayef Al-Dulaimi, the Iraqi ambassador to Egypt and its permanent representative in LAS who headed a delegation from the Iraqi embassy during his first visit to the university In the presence of Dr. Ashraf Khaled, Vice President OF University for Education and Student Affairs, Engineer Muhammad Al-Rashidi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Nahda University, Dr. Hussam Al-Mallahi, President of Al-Nahda University, and Dr. Hossam Nassar, Director of the Expatriate Administration, to discuss ways of cooperation in the fields of higher education and scientific research
Dr. Mansour explained to Dr. Ahmed Al-Dulaimi during an inspection tour of the Expatriates Administration building and the International Student Club, that Beni Suef University was one of the first Egyptian universities that had the lead in establishing a separate building for the general administration for international students to facilitate communication with them
He pointed out that there are 331 male and female expatriates students in the various colleges, representing 17 nationalities, and they are housed in a building designated in university campuses and all facilities are provided to them.
Dr. Mansour reassured the Iraqi ambassador that the university has distinct faculties and institutes totaling 33 colleges and institutes, distributed over three complexes, namely the West Nile Complex, the industrial education of 55 acres, and the 330 acres in the East Nile. It is distinguished from other universities in Egypt and the Middle East with the Faculties of Navigation Sciences and Space Technology, Special Needs Sciences, Postgraduate Studies in Advanced Sciences and many new distinguished programs and divisions
The university president explained that a package of facilities has been set up in the procedures of registering expatriates students in postgraduate studies, by opening special channels for registering expatriates students in departmental seminars, registering plans, formation and discussion in the councils of scientific departments, and facilitating admission procedures in the administration of postgraduate studies in colleges and universities, and that there is support for the management of expatriates in the university in the database required by the Department of Graduate Studies and Education Affairs,to allow the administration to have the opportunity to market the university and create a database for Beni Suef University on the application «Study in Egypt»
The meeting also discussed ways to provide all support to Iraqi students studying at the University of Beni Suef, who numbered 46 students in all different study grades and postgraduate studies, and to overcome the obstacles that face them during their studies at the university, stressing the university’s keenness to provide all facilities for
expatriates students who coming from all countries and removing any obstacles they may face through the expatriate office that responsible
for guiding them and solving their problems
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Mansour Hassan presented the university’s shield to the Iraqi ambassador in appreciation of his visit, and the ambassador presented a souvenir to Dr. Mansour, stressing that there will be fruitful cooperation between the embassy and Beni Suef University, and he thanked the president of the university for the good reception and expressed his admiration for the University of Beni Suef and the diversity of its programs
